Research On The Organic Renewal Design Of The Republic Of China Building On Tianbao Road, Xiaguan, Nanjing

In 1899,Nanjing Xiaguan Port was opened,and Xiaguan what met the needs of trade and became the intersection of Chinese and Western cultures.After 1931,due to the depletion of water transportation,the original social production and commercial activities gradually disappeared in the region,which gradually reduced to the edge of the city.With the rapid development of Nanjing’s urban economy,Xiaguan Riverside is divided into historical areas in the protection plan for Nanjing’s famous historical and cultural city(2010).In 2017,Nanjing planning bureau released the protection list of historical buildings(historical areas)in Nanjing,which included the building of the Republic of China,Tianbao Road,located in the historical area of Xiaguan Binjiang.2018 River Road No.1(Project)of the main street in the advancement of planning and design scheme for the territory of the Republic of China building space organic update function and reshaping history and culture,to seek balance relationship between urban development and protection,for the Nanjing city status,history cultural heritage building protection,humanistic spirit and add power construction sustainable development of the Republic of China,Nanjing architectural history context of the Republic of China provide a new development direction.This paper takes the building of the Republic of China,No.8-30 Xiaguan Tianbao Road,Nanjing,as the research object,and USES the methods of literature research,case analysis and field investigation to collect and sort out relevant data.History and evolution of where the building of the Republic of China,the existing research condition,and characteristics of architectural features,building structure and architectural style make a comprehensive analysis,based on the organic renewal theory,historical building organic update research at home and abroad for reference,the successful experience,combined with the present social needs,maintain historic buildings of traditional style and modern life implanted new function,strengthen the historical architecture and the combination of social life,promote the function of the historic buildings updating and spatial reuse design goal,to where the building of the republic of China Tianbao Road No.8 ～ 30 organic renewal design practice,has transformed its civilian cabinet will bookstore,Through the adjustment of spatial functions,the recombination of moving lines and the strengthening of cultural symbols,the composite space integrating the cultural display,cultural experience and commercial activities of the Republic of China is created to highlight the cultural value of the historical buildings of the Republic of China,enhance their commercial value,stimulate the vitality of the historic buildings and activate the historic blocks.Architecture of the Republic of Nanjing was the product of a specific historical period,which gathered the political,cultural and economic characteristics of the society at that time.Digging its historical and cultural connotation,carries on the reasonable protection and utilization,keep the precious historical memory,and blend in contemporary life,make it become the Nanjing city’s cultural card,this not only enriched the cultural image of Nanjing city,the continuation of historical context,the sustainable development of the more historic buildings provide strong theoretical and practical support.
