Research On The Connection Between Time And Space In Monumental Buildings

The existence of matter is inseparable from time and space,as well as architectural space and monumental buildings.The relationship between time and space should be fully considered in its design.In contemporary monumental architecture,designers often create monumentality from the perspective of space,ignoring the crucial role of time.Based on this phenomenon,this paper refers to the study of the spatiotemporal connection in architecture and applies it to the monumental space,so as to better play the monumental function.Firstly,based on the connection between time and space in the building,establish the framework of the expression and perception of the building time,and analyze its relationship with time by tracing the monumental source;secondly,based on the theoretical analysis and multidimensional time information,analyze the time and space in the form of a case The medium of expression and perception mode connected to monumental architecture;once again explore the enlightenment of space-time connection to monumental architecture from three aspects: time-series path,time-space narrative and narrow time trend;finally,to verify the importance and feasibility of time-space connection,Explore the experimental practical design,and elaborate from the aspects of concept establishment,design process and effect expression.Through the combination of the above theory and practice,the conclusions of this study are drawn.It is hoped that through the research of the above methods,it can bring some value and reference to the current research and practice of monumental architectural space design.
