Research On The Design Strategy Of Small And Medium-sized Gymnasiums In Shenzhen

Shenzhen is the first special economic zone established since China’s reform and opening.The city’s economy has developed rapidly and people’s living standards have been continuously improved in the past few decades.Now,national fitness is becoming more and more popular,in order to meet people’s demand for sports,government has put the construction of sports facilities on the agenda.Perfecting sports supporting facilities has became the main task of social development.Under this background,the small and medium sized gymnasiums have a rapidly development in Shenzhen.Among those gymnasiums,some are used for sports events and the others are used for the fitness of the citizen.Both have their own advantages and problems in their development,this is the background of this article.This article takes the small and medium sized gymnasiums in Shenzhen as the main research objects,including the competition gymnasium and training gymnasium.By analyzing the contents,planning layout and architectural design,we can find out the problems existing in the current gymnasiums construction,and propose solutions to these problems.I hope this research will be helpful to the construction of small and medium sized gymnasiums of Shenzhen in the future.First of all,I sorted out the development process of the small and medium sized gymnasiums in Shenzhen,summarized the characteristics at each development stage,through the method of data collection,Secondly,counted the number of gymnasiums that already built,under construction and to be built,in order to figure out the construction situation and per capita indicators of small and medium sized gymnasiums in Shenzhen,and then compare and analyze the development with foreign cities;in addition,through the field research and questionnaire survey,I made a horizontal comparison in many aspects,such as the layout,site selection,general layout,external traffic organization,functional content,main space combination,internal space layout etc.to find out the rules and main problems in the construction of the stadiums.Finally,for these existed problems.I proposed optimized design construction strategies in terms of quantity and quality,site selection,external transportation,function,and space.
