The key to enhance the core competitiveness and maximize the value of a company is to improve the employee performance,which is one of the commonly used means in the modern enterprise management process and a key research topic for experts and scholars at home and abroad.The 4S store of brand A,holding by Guangdong TD Auto Trading Co.,LTD.,with one-year formal business running,at this initial stage of enterprise development,it is facing with fierce market competition in the current economic situation and industrial background.Therefore,the store urgently needs to strengthen internal management to improve market competitiveness,among which employee performance management is an important part.This article takes the frontline staff in Sales Department and Service Department as the research object.And it uses literature research,on-site research and other methods to study the current status of its performance management.Firstly,this paper sorts out the theory and literature on performance management and lays the theoretical foundation for follow-up research.Then it analyzes the status of the 4S store of brand A and its performance management status,and points out the current problems,such as incomplete performance planning,unreasonable design of index system,imprecise performance appraisal process,and insufficient application of performance appraisal results,etc.The reasons for these problems are further discussed,including the failure to form a complete performance management cycle system,the inability of the appraisal model to adapt to the frontline staff,and the weak functions of the human resources management department.Secondly,aiming at the existing problems and causes of the existing employee performance management system in the 4S store of brand A,priority is given to the overall thinking of optimization,and as a starting point,the design of the performance index system,the improvement of the performance management process,and the expected effect of the program implementation are discussed.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the staff performance management optimization program in the 4S store of brand A,the corresponding guarantee measures are proposed from four aspects: organizational structure,management system,corporate culture and material basis.
