In the history of the development of ancient military cities in China,due to political needs,a large number of towns formed by factors such as military annexation and stationing were born.Later,due to the change of dynasty or the change of offensive and defensive relationship,many towns were revived or their military functions changed.Many ancient city remains.They represent the rich military cultural connotation in the historical period.They are a manifestation of a special type of urban culture in the history of the development of ancient cities.They have unique historical and cultural values and military cultural values.This paper takes Wuguan City as the main research object,and makes full use of historical documents,archaeological exploration materials,journal documents,internal materials and archives,combined with field research,from the perspectives of historical geography,archaeology,cultural anthropology and cultural heritage planning.Comprehensive research on the protection and utilization of Wuguan City site.As a cultural relics protection unit in Shaanxi Province,Wuguan City is a precious and unrenewable legacy left by history and nature.Its tailor-made military site selection and natural defense defensive terrain provide a model for studying the development and protection of military settlements.The background of this paper is based on the author's participation in the Wuguan City Site Protection Planning Project.It aims to sort out the historical evolution of Wuguan City through the study and discussion of the Wuguan City site,further guide the protection and development of the Wuguan City site and arouse the academic community's military cultural heritage.Concern and protection.
