Research On The Design And Application Of Elderly Refrigerators Based On User Experience

At present,with the constant increase of population aging base,more and more attention is paid to the elderly group in the society.The product design industry that is no exception,not only gradually changes their design thinking of the products for the elderly,but also increasingly attaches importance to their physiological and psychological needs the basis of “people-oriented” design concept.Therefore,developing elderly products market becomes a current focus of designers and enterprises.Based on the status quo of the refrigerator market vacancy for the elderly,and the opportunity of participating in enterprise development,the thesis explores how to make one different way from other design innovation,and tries to make the refrigerators for the elderly get rid of the current refrigerator homogeneity phenomenon,and ensure the product not only has the characteristics of the elderly to use,but also show the feeling of refrigerators and sense of the Times,and meet consumers' physiological and psychological interaction and the love of life to the largest degree.In the process of project research and development,much special attention is paid to the sentiment,personalization,particularity behaviors of the elderly;the introduction of user experience theory,as well as its guidance in product design innovation is enhanced.It is hoped to find refrigerator design innovation idea suitable for the elderly through this way.Thesis research topic is selected mainly because of the enterprise project,which is about the refrigerators for the elderly.The author is a member of the project design team,so a certain security is provided in terms of data and research,and user experience theory can applied through the whole course design,which is also based on the discussion with other members,and lays the research and practice foundation for smooth thesis writing.In the process of writing,the author investigates the needs of elderly families and the elderly,and master the relationship between the elderly and the refrigerators for the elderly.Taking the elderly users as the core,the thesis makes an in-depth analysis and research on their refrigerator usage,and summarizes and extracts their usage behavior and characteristics.The research data and the extracted results are fully applied to the design and development of the refrigerators for the elderly.In the development,the elderly are also allowed to participate in the inspection of the rationality of the refrigerator design so as to fully understand the feasibility of the introduction of user experience theory.This thesis consisting of five chapters demonstrates the role and rules of user experience theory in the design and innovation of refrigerator products for the elderly.The basic theory of user experience is explained,and the current situation of the refrigerator for the elderly is analyzed and sorted out,which lay a theoretical foundation for the research and development and design innovation of the refrigerators for the elderly.The fourth chapter elaborates on how to innovate the design of the refrigerators for the elderly under the user experience theory,and it is hoped that the theoretical exploration can help designers truly assist the elderly in terms of the design of the refrigerators for the elderly,improve their sense of experience,and meet their material and emotional demands.The fifth chapter discusses how to apply the theoretical research results to the process of personal graduation design practice to form a text,so as to provide a reference basis for product designers to combine theory with practice.
