With the development of science and technology and the improvement of the Industrial Design, User Experience, with its unique comprehensive method, give the Product Design a new design pattern. User Experience is user-centered,Guided by the demands of users, and analyse it combined with the behavior environment,the focus is turn the products to people’s needs and the emotional communication in the process of human-computer interaction. This paper is writted for the special needs of older users, by building process of using the products,simulating usage scenarios,and combined with the User Experience to try to establish The Design Requirements and design.Since the Glucose meter appeared in 1960 s, its blood glucose detection technology has been constantly improved and perfected. With the increase of the incidence of diabetes and the people’s themselves’health consciousness enhancement, glucose meter has gradually become one part of the home care products. So the market is also growing demand for glucose meters, result in the appearing of a large number of brands of glucose meters in the market. In face of the appearance of good and bad glucose meters mixed, to make products win the competition among them, The User Experience design is the key point in the product design. Good User Experience in the application of the products will not only bring companies opportunities, but more give the users humanistic care,and have the effect of growth in value of using and markets.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter mainly introduces the research background, research methods and research significance. The second chapter is analyzed on the user experience concept, content, essence and connotation, and combining with the instance to elaborate and analyse. In beginning of the third chapter, it summarized On blood sugar disease pathology and related symptoms, and then on the outlook for the future application of new technology,it carried out the comprehensive research from the principle of use, the use of process, the development history and current situation of the development.The fourth chapter mainly according to the content of chapters above, Giving analysis of the characteristics of older users and the requirements analysis in using of glucose meters, and combined with the environmental conditions to analyse to obtain the design key points. The fifth chapter begin to start the design practice in elderly glucose meter with summarized the main points of design in combination with the above chapters and in view of the user requirements to test the feasibility of user experience in home blood glucose meter, and obtained conclusions related The User Experience in the applications of products. Finally through the analysis, exploration and induction of the above chapters,to summarize the value of User Experience to family health care products, including market value and use value, etc. And then it summarized the research methods with special groups of users as the research target, through the design practice to interpret the meaning of research on special groups the users.
