Design And Development Of "Interior Design" Virtual Training System

With the continuous development of science and technology,the educational teaching mode of colleges and universities is constantly being reformed and innovated,and it has become a new idea for the reform of teaching mode to promote the development of information technology into the daily teaching activities in colleges and universities.Practical training is inevitable for art design courses and only real practices based on theories can promote comprehensive development.Therefore,the good operation of practical teaching becomes an important link to improve the overall quality of teaching.Facing the restriction of various factors in the real environment,the virtual reality system is developed at the proper time and it begins to stand out conspicuously in art design for the unique multi-dimensional interaction and immersive.Based on the virtual reality system,the traditional practical teaching mode which is centered at teachers and has passive learning of students is changed to an innovative teaching mode which emphasizes on subjective initiative of students and is supplemented by student-teacher interaction.The virtual reality system not only improves the teaching quality,but also trains practical operation ability and innovative spirit of students,and stimulates students' interest in curriculum learning better.Based on the applications and development of virtual reality system in practical teaching in colleges and universities,the applications of virtual reality technology were analyzed thoroughly in this study.Moreover,it discussed the applications and values of new technologies in order to provide a new technical route to develop a virtual reality system in the new era.Firstly,abundant studies concerning theories of the virtual reality system were analysed by the literature research method.It also organized the origins and conceptual features of the virtual reality system,and virtual reality systems were classified.Then the advantages and significance of virtual reality systems in practical teaching were summarized.Secondly,the virtual reality system for Interior Design was designed.The basic design principles were summarized and demands of the virtual reality system for Interior Design were investigated.In addition,structure,development flow,developing tools and key techniques of the virtual reality system for Interior Design were designed and introduced based on understanding of the general functional requirements.Thirdly,a multi-dimensional analysis on implementation techniques in typical cases was carried out and the excellent experiences in these cases were summarized.Next,the virtual reality system for Interior Design was designed practicallyIn the real development flow of the virtual reality system for Interior Design,it is mainly divided into four stages of preparation,design&development,encapsulation&optimization,and debugging&packaging,and the realization of each stage is described in detail.Finally,by focus group as its research method,operation effect of the virtual reality system for Interior Design was analyzed.And in order to realizing the practical application values of the system to the maximum extent,the system was improved and optimized continuously according to feedback information(questions and suggestions)of teachers and students in the focus groupsMoreover,problems and shortcomings in designing the virtual reality system for Interior Design were reflected,and it provide an outlook which the virtual reality system is applied to different industries.It is believed that more novel and stronger virtual reality systems will be developed in future with the continuous scientific technological progresses.
