Car fenders are one of the most important car decorations.They not only have decorative effects,but also protect the car from road stones and other scratches to protect the driving safety of the vehicle.Since the batch production of heavy vehicles is generally thousands of units,the production process is often rolled sheet forming.To meet the needs of enterprises,a fender forming equipment with certain flexibility was developed.The main research contents are as follows:Research on the forming mechanism of fender materials.According to the technical parameters of a new fender processing provided by the fender manufacturer and the material of 304 stainless steel,the mechanism of 304 stainless steel forming is studied;and the equipment type and process required for fender production are analyzed accordingly.Establish an evaluation system for the design of the scheme.Based on which a preliminary screening of various design schemes is carried out;through the kinematics analysis,the final scheme is determined.Based on various comprehensive indicators such as molding quality,manufacturing cost,maintenance cost,and floor space,the overall scheme design evaluation system for fender flexible molding equipment was established;and based on this,the relevant schemes of five kinds of fender special processing equipment were evaluated.The first two reasonable schemes were selected for the next kinematics analysis.Using the mathematical analysis function of MATLAB software,the mathematical model of the relationship between the radius of curvature and the moving sub-stroke was established,and the transmission scheme was mathematically analyzed.Out the overall plan and transmission plan of the equipment.Design virtual prototypes,check key components,and program processing.The virtual prototype was drawn by using the SolidWorks 3D software design function;on this basis,the finite element software was used to check the strength of the key components of the special equipment;the engineering drawing was drawn,and the processing technology of the key parts was compiled.Design the control circuit and program the corresponding program.The control system proposed for the special processing equipment for heavy-duty vehicle metal fenders was selected.The PLC was selected as the control unit based on the detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the common mechanical equipment control system.The electrical control system of special processing equipment was designed,the corresponding matching electrical components were selected and designed,and the PLC control program required for special processing equipment was compiled.
