With the development of the automotive industry, the large increase in the number of cars has followed the problem of parking difficulties. In order to solve the problem of parking difficulties,it is necessary to establish more and larger parking lots, which in turn leads to the development of intelligent parking lots, and the research on vehicle path guidance in the intelligent parking lot is an important issue. This paper designs a hardware implementation of FPGA-based parking path guidance algorithm. In this paper, the method of parallel processing of data is used to model the environment by grid method. The Binary Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm(BPSO)is used as the path-guided core algorithm. The overall algorithm is implemented in an iterative manner, using successive approximation and The look-up table design power function module makes full use of the storage unit on the FPGA,which reduces the logic resources and the occupancy rate of the DSP.The Quartus II and Modelsim are selected as the development environment. The hardware implementation platform is the DE1 development board. The signal is tested with Signal Tap II and the final result is VGA display path. This design can achieve the best path guidance. The path guidance is verified by the hardware platform. The average time is0.09.s,an average increase of about 25 times compared to other implementation methods.
