With the growing maturity of the technological development of the machinery manufacturing industry,the integration of CAD/CAPP/CAM is becoming more and more demanding.Its main goal is to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional process design and to promote the automation of the process design.Therefore,CAPP has played a key link in it.The CAPP system designed in this paper adopts the feature based part information description method and the similarity retrieval technology based on instance.When the process is designed for a new part,a similar example is retrieved from the case base,and then the work of the part can be formed with a slight modification.Art,thus making the process design of parts faster and more scientific.In view of the process design for the parts of the rotary body,the description of the parts information is first proposed,the feature mode of the parts of the revolving parts is described,the geometric information and the process information of the parts are expressed by the flexible code,and the automatic extraction method of the feature information of the parts under the SolidWorks environment is designed,and the part letter is created.Interest expression model.Secondly,the processing technology of the revolving parts is analyzed,and the feature based case library is designed,and a series of operations are designed to maintain the case base.Then,the part feature matrix is defined in the case of case based similarity retrieval,and three step retrieval algorithms are proposed for the similarity retrieval of the target parts: the first step is to retrieve the instance group;the second step uses the edit distance algorithm to retrieve the auxiliary feature similarity,and the third step mainly uses Euclidean algorithm to retrieve the process information similarity.Through progressive progression,retrieval results are more accurate and fast.Finally,in the SolidWorks software environment,using its powerful application interface,using VC++6.0 as the development tool and other related technologies,the CAPP system of rotary parts based on the SolidWorks environment is developed.
