| Driven by the trend of economic globalization and the State’s ‘going global’ strategy,China’s construction companies are going abroad and actively participating in international competition.This is not only the only way to adapt to the development trend of economic globalization,but also an inevitable choice for the sustainable development of enterprises.In particular,the in-depth implementation of ‘The Belt and Road Initiative’ has provided an unprecedented historical opportunity for China’s construction companies,represented by ZT Engineering Company,to explore the international market.The ways to scientifically formulate a strategy for internationalization of enterprises,increase the level of internationalized management,and enhance the international competitiveness of enterprises have been the common issues confronted by the construction industry in China,including ZT Engineering Company.In this thesis,upon analysis on PEST and Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model as for external environment of ZT Engineering Company and industry competition trend,and internal organization of the Company’s resources and capabilities,the opportunities,threats and its advantages and disadvantages faced by the Company were accurately identified.Upon analysis on factors and weights with SWOT Matrix,the conclusion was scientifically designed that ZT Engineering Company should give priority to the growth SO strategy portfolio in the future,and constantly increase the international market share by grasping market opportunities and strengthening internal advantages.Upon analysis on experience and lessons learned from overseas business development of ZT Engineering Company,comparison of internationalization level and development status with advanced large-scale constructions enterprises at home and abroad,the strategic positioning,overall plan,and strategic objectives of ZT Engineering Company’s international operations were clarified,and in-depth analysis and research on location selection,access methods,and business models were conducted.On this basis,four safeguard measures were proposed to provide an effective reference for ZT Engineering Company to further optimize its internationalization strategy,enhance its internationalization level and international competitiveness,and participate in a higher level of international competition. |
