Wind power is known as one kind of renewable and pollution-free energy,which has broad prospects in energy market.Developing clean energy has been a strategic choice for the most countries in the world.Wind power industry of China is gratifying in recent years.The installation capacity of wind power of China had consecutively doubled for 5 years,and the world installation capacity ranking of China has risen to first place compared with the fourth place in 2008.By the end of 2009,there are 423 wind farms has been constructed with a total capacity of 22.68 million kw,which account for 2.6%of the national power generation capacity.The scale of wind power industry of China has become the one of the largest energy industry among the world in 2010,and the total installed capacity has been over 41 million kilowatts.Wind power industry of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has been developing rapidly,and the wind power generation capacity of Inner Mongolia continued to be the top in the country.Compared with other conventional generating units like thermal power,hydropower and nuclear power,wind power has some different characteristics,such as intermittent,volatile,anti-peaking.And these characteristics of wind power would be certain risks to the grid.Besides peak load regulating ability of grid is not as perfect as we need duiring the heat delivery season(October to next April),which is the main cause of the limitation of wind power generation.Especially at night,we have to waste a lot of wind resources.In this paper,the auther takes the operation efficiency of wind farm into acount,he puts out a concept named co-generation mode that involves wind power and heat power.It means,in the peak hour,wind power would supplies electricity to the grid directly,and during peak-valley it may take a special access to heat-supply system of the urban areas,so we can reduce the pressure of the grid.This mode can not only provides clean power,but also provides relatively cheap heating in urban areas.It is a new combined of heat and power model.This paper focuses on the theme of wind power generation,discusses the following aspects:First,the auther made a simple introduction of the background,significance,and the progress of the research in this field home and abroad.Then he illustrated the trend of the development of wind power.Secondly,he introduced of the traditional concept of co-generation and the development status in China.Then the auther discussed wind power industry of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and analyzed relevant national policies and the problems of the wind power.Thirdly,the auther described concept and characteristics of the wind power co-generation model,then analyzed the rationality of wind power co-generation,and introduced research program,and then made the analysis of co-generation mode through the SWOT tool.He designed a co-generation mode based on the characteristics and status of Inner Mongolia Power Grid,and put forward a more detailed program.Finally,he analyzed the possible risks of the wind industry and wind power co-generation project,then proposed the risk control measures.
