| In 2016,the annual output of state-owned enterprises was close to 20.2 million tons.Melting pool smelting is one of the important processes of copper smelting,in which furnace lining materials are generally aluminum magnesia refractory,magnesia chromium refractory and pure steel jade refractory.There are many reasons for the destruction of refractories in the smelting process,among which the main reason is the corrosion of copper slag to the refractories.In the smelting process,the furnace lining is in contact with the slag,which leads to serious erosion and dissolution of the furnace lining,especially in the direct contact between the refractory material and the slag boundary layer,which is prone to redox reactions,which will consume carbon and form a porous structure in the refractory.In this way,the service life of furnace lining can be reduced,the production cost of copper smelter can be increased,and the production efficiency can be reduced.Most importantly,erosion will often generate exogenous inclusions with complex components,which will affect the purity and quality of copper produced after dilution.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the influence of corrosion behavior on furnace lining during smelting of copper slag converter.Static contrast crucible method was used to investigate the corrosion behavior of copper slag on different refractory materials.By means of XRD analysis,SEM-EDS,XRF analysis,Factsage phase diagram calculation,XPS analysis and Factsage balance module calculation,the influence of basicity and Al2O3 content in slag on the corrosion behavior of refractory was investigated.The results showed that with the increase of alkalinity and Al2O3 content,the erosion rate PQ decreased from 11.198%to 5.39%.When the alkalinity and Al2O3 content are constant,the corrosion resistance of the refractory material is higher than that of the magnesium-chromium refractory material.In the corrosion experiment of mg-cr refractories,the PQ of three types of mg-cr refractories,Rtzmge-M9,Rtzmge-M12 and Rtzmge-M15,all decreased with the increase of basicity of copper slag.Under the same alkalinity condition,the PQ of three different types of refractories was reduced from 0.129%to 0.108%.The corrosion resistance of rtzmge-m15 magnesia chrome brick was the best,followed by that of rtzmge-m12 magnesia chrome brick,and the corrosion resistance of Rtzmge-M9,magnesia chrome brick was the worst.This study aims to dilution in the process of constructing the reasonable structure of copper melting type Tony and refractory components,minimize refractory erosion degree,thus reduce the damage rate of the refractory material,for cost savings,copper slag dilution process for copper smelting production and the selection of refractory material in the process of dilution and provide guidance in practical application.The refractories composed of rigid jade refractory,Al2O3 and Mg O and magnesia chromium refractory are widely used in copper smelting process.Due to the high temperature and slag characteristics in the melting process,the refractories are easy to be corroded and aged,especially the copper slag is in direct contact with the refractories.The static crucible method was used to study the corrosion resistance of different refractories to slag.By means of XRD analysis,SEM-EDS,XRF three types of magnesium-chromium refractory(RTZMGe-M9、RTZMGe-M12 and RTZMGe-M15)decreased with the increase of basicity of copper slag.Under the same alkalinity condition,three different types of refractories were used in the depletion erosion experiment.RTZMGe-M15 magnesia chrome brick showed the best corrosion resistance,followed by RTZMGe-M12 magnesia chrome brick,and the worst corrosion resistance of RTZMGe-M9 magnesia chrome brick.This study in copper slag-refractory material in the process of copper slag dilution,for different type slag(different basicity and Al2O3 content)of copper slag for different material of refractory erosion comparison research,aimed at dilution in the process of constructing reasonable type copper melting Tony structure and composition of refractory material and minimize refractory erosion degree,thereby reducing the damage of refractory,for cost savings,copper slag dilution process for copper smelting production and the selection of refractory material in the process of dilution and provide guidance in practical application. |
