Research On The Effect Of Cuttings Particle Size And Its Gradation On The Filling Effect Of Water Hole Blasting

Blasting punching is a common phenomenon in the blasting process of open pit mine water hole.Because of the rain and water gushing in the open pit mine,after the perforation is finished,the blasting can not be carried out in time.In the process of blasting,the phenomenon of punching holes is more serious.In this paper,the mechanism of blasting rock-breaking,the action of hole-filling and the blocking mechanism of hole-filling,the action form of pillar-explosion on stuffing are discussed,and the effect of dry hole-filling and water hole-filling under blasting load is compared and analyzed.Based on the field investigation and related theoretical knowledge,it is found that the mine is random and can be filled with hole-hole cuttings.In this paper,the influence of the particle size of cuttings and the blasting effect of the stage-paired water hole is studied.Through the blasting funnel test with different particle sizes of cuttings filled with water holes,it is concluded that when the cuttings particles with particle size less than 0.5 mm are used to fill the water holes,punching holes are easy to occur during blasting,so the cuttings particles with particle size less than 0.5 mm should not be used as water hole fillers.Through the contrast test of air filling,water filling and rock debris particle filling,it is concluded that the effect of water hole filling is improved with the increase of filling material density,but there is no proportional relationship between the two,and the effect of dry hole packing is obviously better than that of water hole packing.According to the blasting funnel test,the effect of the change of cuttings particle content which is not suitable for filling water hole on the effect of water hole filling,it is concluded that the cuttings with particle content less than 0.5 mm particle size more than 50% should not be used as water hole stuffing,otherwise,punching is easy to occur during blasting.On the basis of the test conclusion,the improvement measures were taken to fill the water hole in the background mine,and the punching phenomenon of the water hole blasting was obviously improved,and the punching rate was greatly reduced.
