This paper takes diet life in northern area of Hebei during Qing dynasty as the research object,in order to clarify the foundation of diet life in northern area of Hebei during Qing dynasty,the type and distribution of diet resources,the specific situation of diet,and the characteristics of diet life formed on these basis.The first chapter discusses the natural geographical environment of northern Hebei from the aspects of geomorphology,climatic conditions and river hydrology.This paper introduces the features of mountainous and mountainous areas in the region,and analyzes the climatic characteristics of winter,summer and heat,less precipitation and uneven distribution,as well as the hydrological conditions of rivers throughout various counties and counties.On these basis,the relationship between diet and natural geographical environment is explored.The second chapter expounds the diet resources of northern Hebei in the Qing Dynasty.There are various kinds of food resources such as cereals,fruits and vegetables,livestock and poultry,scales,etc..In addition,it also includes special dietary resources such as population and land.On the basis of introducing the distribution of different dietary resources in each county,various ways of processing crops and cooking food in the area were explored.The third chapter discusses the specific situation of diet in northern Hebei in the Qing Dynasty.The daily diet is dominated by various coarse grains and simple pickled food,which is the basic form of people's diet in the area;When the age of marriage and funeral diet is composed of more abundant dishes and some tea and wine,which are not only the concentrated expression of the dietary characteristics of the region,but also contain people's attitude towards life and life;The famine diet includes various "edible things" such as wild vegetables,bark and grass roots,reflecting all kinds of hard efforts made by people living in difficult times to survive.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics of diet life in northern Hebei in the Qing Dynasty.One is diversity.In people's lives,there are many kinds of foods made of grains,foods(vegetables,meat),tea wine,and some fruits.The second is functional.Diet plays an important role in human life.Its function in the area can be summarized as maintaining people's survival and development,feasting on friends and worshipping ancestors.Third,the level is low.Although the area has rich types of products and diverse types of food,people's lives are mainly made up of coarse grains and pickled dishes.Meat and tea wine are rarely eaten,and the overall standard of living is very low.Fourth,regional.Because of the difference of natural and social conditions,there is a certain difference between the dietary life of people in the area and other areas in the same period.The dietary habits and characteristics of northern Hebei region in the Qing Dynasty were fonned and developed on the basis of the interaction between natural and social conditions,and thus fonned certain characteristics of dietary customs.Through these characteristics,people's material living conditions can not only be understood,but also the political and ethnic relations in the region at that time.The taste of Dingyi is undoubtedly conducive to people's understanding of the social customs of northern Hebei in the Qing Dynasty.
