Yili Resources Kubuqi Desert Ecological Management Benefit Analysis

Desertification is a worldwide problem,with a global area of 38 million square kilometres,equivalent to four areas of China’s land has been reduced to desertification or semi-desertification.China is one of the countries most severely affected by wind and sand in the world.Desertification covers an area of more than 2.63 million square kilometers,accounting for 27.46% of the country’s land area.The economic losses caused by wind and sand damage exceed 54 billion RMB annually.How to solve the problem of wind and sand invasion and desertification control has become an imminent problem in China and even in the world.The Kubuqi Desert,with a total area of 186,000 square kilometers,is the seventh largest desert in China.It was once a forbidden zone for life,but now it is full of green and vigorous.All of these have benefited greatly from the decision-making of harnessing and greening deserts with hundreds of millions of resources in the past 30 years.Since 1988,Yili has invested 1 billion yuan in R&D and innovation of science and technology,created the largest germplasm pool in Northwest China,possessed more than 100 high-end ecological technologies,and collected and preserved more than 1000 cold,drought and salt-tolerant germplasm resources.Based on some basic theories of financial and social benefit analysis,this paper analyzes the financial and social benefits of Kubuqi desert ecological control industry in Kubuqi.Through the analysis of capital movement,cost,explicit income,recessive income and other aspects,the paper analyzes the financial benefits of the desertification industry with billion-profit resources.Through year-to-year comparative analysis,it is found that as a growing enterprise,the overall financial efficiency of the enterprise is at a good level,profitability and solvency are improved,and the operational capacity of assets is gradually enhanced,but there are still shortcomings.It is necessary to gradually improve the level of enterprise asset management,reduce asset occupation,and accelerate capital accumulation.Gold turnover,improve the efficiency of capital use,and strengthen the management of inventory and accounts receivable.This paper analyzes the social benefits of desertification control industry of Yili resources from the aspects of ecological benefits,people’s livelihood benefits,scientific benefits and brand benefits.The main contribution of this paper is to break through the administrative regionality of ecological control,and to analyze the benefits of desert ecological control industry from the perspective of enterprises,so as to provide certain reference for other enterprises to develop desert ecological control industry.
