On The Application Of Cloisonne In Furnishing Artworks

Since the generation of cloisonne process,it has been related with display artwork.As a link between human beings and space,display artwork embodies human' aesthetic taste,artistic accomplishment,which can enrich space level,foil atmosphere of space,display the theme of space and reflect the owner' ethos.With the improvement of people' living standard,awakening of aesthetic consciousness,enrichment of material,lacking of spiritual civilization is prominent.Traditional culture is just an excellent tool to repair the inadequacy.As China's intangible cultural heritage,cloisonne is now stepped into the publics' vision.However,the traditional utensil modeling,color and texture can no longer satisfy the spiritual will of contemporary people.Therefore,how to find the design thinking of cloisonne artwork,which is suit for contemporary people' life style and cultural characteristics,is a problem that every designer should consider.Accompanying with the development of Chinese history,bring forth the new through the old,cloisonne in every time should boast its own characteristics.Through researching the relationship between cloisonne and contemporary people's life to explore its artistry is an effective approach to reflect our country' culture and art.In this paper,I consider that the innovation of traditional cloisonne should not only be reflected in the aspect of craft,shape,texture and color,but put an emphasis on the combination of humanistic spirit and contemporary life and space environment.Demonstrating with other artist' works or other cases friendly and combining graduation creation practice innovation,a conclusion can be made.Five chapters will provided in this paper.The first chapter studies and analyzes the background of cloisonne craft and research significance of paper theme and puts out the problem how to keep pace with the times,pioneer and innovate and get the public esthetic recognition;The second chapter defines cloisonne.It considers cloisonne not only a simple craft,but vigorous aesthetics and delicate craft and puts out that cloisonne,as a historic and cultural mark,can be reapplied and reproduced,exploring the inheritance and development of cloisonne from the aspect of texture,craft,feeling value and other aspects;In third chapter,comparing with foreign cloisonne in space and analyzing aesthetic transformation of cloisonne historically,I mention the inherited predicament of cloisonne in contemporary life space and context,list cloisonne application case in traditional and contemporary environment,and analyze the traditional life space and that of contemporary.I analyze and demonstrate how cloisonne adapts to time' development via cases,and find out innovative understanding and thinking;In fourth chapter,from the angel of contemporary design and other crafts' transformation in present time,I discuss how cloisonne realizes innovation and development and,in a further step,how the traditional cloisonne keeps pace with the time by elaborating the author' graduation design planning and creative process;In five chapter,I make a conclusion by summarizing the arguments and response to the problem in the beginning of the paper,as well as discuss the usage value and social significance of cloisonne innovation.Through elaboration,this paper binds display artwork with cloisonne craft,discussing new design thinking of cloisonne display artwork.
