Research On The Comprehensive Integrated Development Strategy Of COSL

Since 2014.the continuous low oil price has led to the decrease in investment of global oil companies and the overall shrinking of the oilfield service market.In order to effectively avoid the risk of oilfield development and production,oil companies must seek comprehensive service providers with high quality and low price.Oilfield service companies follow the market changes,adjust service mode according to the demand,and start to change from a single professional service mode to provide integrated service mode.It is an important task for domestic oilfield service companies to study and formulate integrated development strategies in line with their own development.In this paper,the strategy analysis method of enterprise development strategy is integrated into a three-stage decision system.The first stage is the "information collection stage",through"five forces"model to analyze the competitive environment of enterprises;The second stage is the"determination strategy stage".According to the internal and external environment and enterprise goals.SWOT analysis method is adopted to determine the development strategy that can be selected by the enterprise.The third stage is the decision-making stage.QSPM matrix is used to evaluate the feasible alternative strategies identified in the second stage with the information collected in the first stage,so as to determine the development strategy of the enterprise.Based on the actual situation of China Oilfield Services Limited(COSL),combined with the industry environment of COSL.this paper analyzes the integrated development strategy of COSL by using the established three-stage decision system.In the second stage,SWOT analysis is used to draw the conclusion that COSL’s comprehensive integration has four alternative development directions,namely core capability strategy,cost leadership strategy,target aggregation strategy and diversification strategy.In the third stage,QSPM matrix was used to draw the conclusion that COSL’s integrated development should focus on core competence strategy,adopt cost leadership strategy and target aggregation strategy in specific markets,and focus on market segments and specific regional markets.The strategy analysis method of the three-stage decision system in this paper can also be applied to other oil service enterprises,and has certain reference significance for the determination of development strategies of other industries.
