Research On The Healing Function Of Chinese Paper-cutting

Chinese paper cutting is an indispensable medium and carrier of faith,emotion and manual labor.With a wealth of healing resources,it plays a psychological value that cannot be ignored in generations of inheritance and use.At present,there is a lack of special research on the healing function of Chinese paper cutting in the research and practice of painting art therapy and intangible cultural heritage.In response to this problem,based on the theoretical practice of painting art therapy and the research and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage,multi-disciplinary theory was applied to explore the healing function of Chinese paper cutting with Guo Peizhen's paper cutting healing experience as a typical case.The following conclusion was drawn:(1)The lateralization of brain function and the response characteristics of cerebral cortex to image stimulation are the physiological basis of Chinese paper cutting's healing function.The theoretical achievements of different psychological schools provide the psychological basis for the research on Chinese paper cutting's healing function.(2)The healing function of Chinese paper cutting plays a significant role in many aspects,such as emotional counseling,self-knowledge,consciousness enhancement and wound repair.The healing function of Chinese paper cutting works through the combination of body,mind and soul as well as creative process,images and healing space.The healing function of Chinese paper cutting has its uniqueness and advantages such as visual intuitiveness,value neutrality,cultural connection,daily operation,rich flexibility and healing persistence,which are suitable for promotion in China.With more attention paid to the protection of intangible cultural heritage and the increasingly prominent demand for psychological healing,the value of Chinese paper cutting's healing function will be highlighted in broader fields.This thesis explored the healing function of Chinese paper cutting and put forward the possibility of its application,thus making a beneficial exploration for the creative inheritance of intangible cultural heritage and the localization process of art therapy.
