With the development of economy and the advancement of fiber and textile technology,people’s requirements for clothing have not only been limited to keeping warm,but also paying more attention to comfort,beauty and functionality.In order to pursue the comfort of the fabrics,researchers have been exploring the improved method of fiber and devoted to the research of new fibers.Microfine fiber is a fine viscose fiber with fineness of 0.5 dtex,which imparts moisture absorption,breathability,lightness,and softness to the fabric.Since this type of fiber has not yet officially entered the Chinese textile market,and domestic research and understanding of this fiber is very fewl,so it is extremely important to investigate the initial performance of Microfine fiber.The comparison test was carried out between Microfine fiber and ordinary viscose fiber.The morphology,internal structure,tensile properties,moisture absorption and moisture release and antistatic properties of Microfine fiber were analyzed by scanning electron microscope,electronic fiber strength tester and so on.Then,Microfine fiber and cotton fiber were blended,and the problems in the spinning process are summarized.The basic properties of blended yarn such as strength,friction,hygroscopicity,yarn hairiness and evenness of yarn were studied.The optimal near-optimal theory was used to determine the best ratio of the blended yarn.The blended yarn,made of Microfine fiber and cotton fiber,was used to weave blended fabrics.The fabric surface is smooth,light and soft.The mechanical properties of the woven fabric,such as breaking strength,breaking strength and wear resistance,were studied.The heat moisture comfort,such as moisture permeability,water conductivity,quick drying,air permeability and warmth retention,was researched.And experiments on fabric style such as draping,rigid and surface friction were carried out.By using the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,the comprehensive performance of blended woven fabric was analyzed,and the design method with better overall performance was obtained.The design of Microfine/ cotton blended woven fabric is suitable for shirt fabric in terms of performance and appearance.It provides a theoretical basis for developing high-grade shirting fabrics.
