The paper studied the blending process of alginate fiber and the properties of yarn and knitted fabric.First,the optimum process conditions were obtained through the study of the ring spinning process of alginate fiber /viscose fiber blended yarns.As the twist value increases,the breaking strength of the blended yarn increases first and decreases later.And the elongation at break,hairiness index,and dryness CV decrease first and then increase slightly.It is believed that when the alginate fiber/viscose fiber blended yarn is to be used in the spinning process,a smaller draft zone should be selected with a draft of 1.10 and 600 n/10 m.Secondly,through the research on the preparation process of alginate fiber/dyed cotton blended yarn and the effect of alginate fiber content on the performance of blended spun yarn.And it was concluded that when selecting the blending ratio in actual production,the critical blending ratio of 30% should be avoided to prevent the occurrence of low intensity.Thirdly,through the study of the preparation of three-component blends of alginate fiber/cotton and polyester,acrylic,and modal fibers,and the effect of blending ratio on yarn properties,It is concluded that in actual production,the content of alginate fiber should not be too high.In summary,the combination of three-component fibers of seaweed fiber/cotton/polyester fiber has the best strength,and the ratio is 20/65/15.Finally,the basic performance test of the alginate fiber blended yarn dyed yarn knitted fabric and the simple use performance test were performed to analyze its performance.
