| Acrylic fiber is widely made for clothes used in autumn and winter knitted underwear,flat knitting sweaters,and other products because of its softness and warmth.With the development of science and technology,based on acrylic fiber,many companies expand the product line of acrylic fiber through the research and development of differentiated and functional modified acrylic fiber and improve the market competitiveness of acrylic fiber products.Polarno acrylic modified fiber is a composite acrylic fiber developed by Japan’s Toyobo Co.,Ltd.and introduced by Shanghai Rishu Technology Textile Co.,Ltd.,through wet spinning at the same time polymerization of bulk and solid two-component acrylic fiber,forming a natural three-dimensional crimp,fiber swelling Loose and soft.This subject studies the properties and wearability of Polarno acrylic fiber,woolen spinning Polarno acrylic blended yarn,worsted spinning Polarno acrylic blended yarn,combed cotton Polarno acrylic blended yarn,and its knitted fabrics.Provide a reference for the product development and market promotion of Polarno acrylic modified fibersIn this paper,the microscopic cross-section,longitudinal morphology,mechanical properties,crimping properties,moisture absorption properties,dynamic and static friction coefficients of Polarno acrylic fibers,bulk acrylic fibers,solid acrylic fibers,and wool fibers are tested and analyzed first.The results of experiment shows that:the actual linear density of Polarno acrylic fiber is 2.33dtex,the cross-section is circular,and the longitudinal groove is deep;compared with bulk acrylic fiber and solid acrylic fiber,the moisture absorption performance of Polarno acrylic fiber is improved by 28.5%and 8.9%respectively;the number of curls are added 3-4,means the elasticity of Polarno acrylic fiber exceeds that of ordinary modified acrylic fibers.Compared with wool fiber,Polarno acrylic fiber has a 27.7%increase in breaking strength,10.9%higher elongation at break than wool,70.1%lower initial modulus than wool,and better mechanical properties than wool fiber;crimp recovery rate is 5.7%higher than wool,fiber elasticity is better than wool;but the moisture absorption performance still has a big gap with wool.For the woolen spinning Polarno acrylic blended yarn,we designed and spun yarns with a linear density of 62.5tex(1/16N):Polarno/cotton/nylon/wool(35/30/30/5),Polarno/solid acrylic/nylon/wool(35/30/30/5),Polarno/bulk acrylic/nylon/wool(35/30/30/5),Polarno/viscose/nylon/wool(35/30/30/5),etc.These 4 types of blended yarns are knitting 1+1full needle rib fabric on the 8th flat knitting machine.Then test and analysis their moisture absorption,mechanical properties,hairiness index and dynamic friction coefficient,as well as the air permeability,warmth retention,bursting performance,tensile recovery,rigidity and flexibility,drape,antistatic performance,and anti-pilling performance of the material.The results of experiments show that:compared with other blended yarns,Polarno/bulk acrylic/nylon/wool(35/30/30/5)blended yarn has the highest breaking strength and elongation at break,small initial modulus,tough and soft yarn;long hairiness on the surface of the yarn leads to a large dynamic friction coefficient;the fabric has low air permeability and high thermal resistance;good bursting strength and tensile recovery performance;high flexural rigidity,low drape coefficient,and rough fabric style.For worsted spinning Polarno acrylic blended yarn,select Polarno/wool(40/60)hank dyeing yarn and Polarno/wool(40/60)stock-dyed yarn with linear density of 41.67tex(2/48N),and test their moisture absorption,mechanical properties,hairiness index,dynamic friction coefficient of the yarn,as well as the color fastness,air permeability,warmth retention,rigidity and flexibility,anti-pilling performance of the dyed fabric.The performance differences of blended yarns and knitted fabrics under different dyeing processes were compared,and the performance differences of yarns and fabrics before and after dyeing were compared with Polarno/wool(40/60)white yarn.The results show that the hank dyeing yarn fastness is good,the gray scale assesses the color change grade of the dyed yarn≥4,the Polarno/wool(40/60)hank dyeing fabric has a small change rate of K/S value;The thermal resistance of hank dyeing fabric is not as good as that of stock-dyed fabric,the fabric has high air permeability,low bending stiffness,soft and difficult to pilling;Polarno/wool(40/60)hank dyeing yarn has a 5.7%increase in moisture absorption performance and a 12.5%reduction in breaking strength compared to the embryo yarn,the elongation at break increased by 6.7%,the initial modulus decreased,and the mechanical properties of the yarn were lost.Using the method of hank dyeing to prepare blended yarns with different percentage of Polarno acrylic fiber:solid acrylic fiber/wool(40/60),Polarno acrylic fiber/solid acrylic fiber/wool(20/20/60),Polarno acrylic fiber/solid acrylic fiber/wool(30/10/60),Polarno acrylic fiber/wool(40/60).Testing the wearability of yarns and knitted fabrics and the results show:with the increase of Polarno fiber content,the moisture absorption performance and elastic recovery performance of the yarn increase,The number of≥3mm long hairiness has been improved significantly,and the yarn is more flexible.Compared with the solid acrylic/wool(40/60)blended yarn,the moisture absorption performance of Polarno acrylic/wool(40/60)blended yarn is improved by 15.45%.The yarn has good toughness,better mechanical properties of the fabric,and high bursting strength.It has good wideness and the fabric is not easy to deform;but the fabric has high air permeability,and its warmth retention performance is not as good as Polarno acrylic/solid acrylic/wool(30/10/60)blended fabric.For combed cotton Polarno acrylic blended yarn,select the blended yarn with a linear density of 14.76tex(40s):Polarno acrylic fiber/solid acrylic fiber/viscose(30/30/40),solid acrylic fiber/bulk acrylic/viscose(30/30/40),Polarno acrylic/bulk acrylic/viscose(30/30/40),solid acrylic/viscose(60/40),test the elastic recovery performance,moisture absorption performance,mechanical properties,hairiness of the yarn index,dynamic friction coefficient,double-ribbed fabric is prepared on a multifunctional circular knitting machine,and the fabric’s thermal insulation performance,bursting performance,tensile recovery performance,rigidity and flexibility,drape,antistatic performance,and anti-pilling performance were tested.The results show that the addition of Polarno acrylic fiber can improve the tensile elasticity of blended yarns and fabrics;the curling properties of Polarno acrylic fibers also make the thickness of the blended fabrics larger,there are more small pores in the yarn,and the thermal insulation performance of the fabrics is improved;Polarno acrylic fibers/bulk acrylic/viscose(30/30/40)is not as hygroscopic as Polarno acrylic/solid acrylic/viscose(30/30/40),but it is superior in fabric warmth retention,mechanical properties,and tensile recovery in Polarno acrylic/solid acrylic/viscose(30/30/40)blended fabric,the overall wearing performance is better. |
