Today, with the prevalence of contemporary art, people strongly advocate the era of hand-made spirit, and contemporary ceramic art is developing rapidly.Materials have always been the most important medium for expressing art.Ceramics,as an art expression material, has its own unique charm of the material.Clay comes from nature and is processed to have a base of fired ceramics. It can be applied to clay by kneading, pressing, drawing, printing and other actions to fully display the mud. After the water is fully dried,it is glazed into the kiln and burned at a high temperature of 1300 degrees to make porcelain.Certain forms of clay,as fired, are fixed and preserved. From earth to porcelain is a material transformation,it is a qualitative leap. When modern ceramic art becomes popular, people pay more attention to the unique material properties of the material itself, that is,the muddy nature that people are pursuing. The occasional texture or effect of ceramics makes it a unique material language for the expression of ceramic art.Even so,from mud to porcelain, some textures and effects are fired and cannot retain the effect that the clay itself can exhibit. Why can't you just use clay to express it? This undoubtedly expanded the scope of contemporary ceramic art expressed in clay as the main material, further adding to the artistic expression of contemporary pottery art..
