The article analyzes in detail the research progress of the application of laser technology at home and abroad in the removal of optical fiber coatings and optical fiber fusion,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of different schemes,and studies the basic principles of laser ablation coatings and quartz optical fiber fusion.Comparative analysis determined that the 10.6?m CO2laser was used to achieve the above functions.A measurement and control system with STM32 as the core is designed to implement the control function of laser power PWM,ambient temperature monitoring,and high-precision displacement platform step control function.The PID control algorithm is introduced to improve the stability of the output power of the CO2laser,and the stepping micro-motion platform start algorithm is used to improve the stability of the start and stop of the stepper motor.The precise control of the displacement platform is completed.The displacement stroke is 200mm and the positioning accuracy is better than 0.02mm.In summary,through the ARM embedded system,the laser power,ambient temperature,and other key parameters of the laser ablation coating and the fiber fusion process are automatically collected,and the software algorithm is used to realize the feedback control of the laser power and the precise positioning of the fiber.To lay a solid foundation for low-cost,miniaturized and intelligent optical fiber coating ablation and hot melt laser processing system.
