The Chinese in vitro diagnostic industry is dispersed in market,huge in the number of enterprises,destitute in leadership,and fast in development.By contrast,the oversea in vitro diagnostic industry is highly concentrated in market,frequent in merge and acquisitions and stable in growth.Under the impact of enterprise integration,reconstruction of industrial value chain,two-vote system and intensive procurement,the competition pattern of Chinese in vitro diagnostic circulation enterprises has subverted.With the development of technology,the quality of products has been gradually improved,and the demand for quality in the application market has gradually shifted to the demand for integrated services,resulting in the gradual weakening of the competitive advantage of circulation enterprises.As an in vitro diagnostic circulation enterprise in Sichuan,Company A has experienced a significant decline in its sales in a fiercely competitive environment.Therefore,how to implement strategic transformation in the rapidly changing external environment and use its own resources and capabilities to reshape core competitiveness and achieve sustainable development is an urgent problem for Company A.This paper briefly describes the research background,research purposes and significance first to highlight the research value of this paper,and reveals the industry environment in which company A is located.Then the research related to value chain and enterprise transformation deeply were deeply analyzes,and the theories of strategic transformation based on value chain orientation are summarizes.The analyses to the structure of in vitro diagnostic industry value chain from the perspective of value chain,and the key competitiveness factors and value-added of each link are illustrated as well.Furthermore the basic situation,resources and capabilities of Company A,as well as the current status and development of the current value chain are analyzed.Finally,aiming at the status quo and problems of Company A under the current value chain,combined with the resources and capabilities of Company A,the transformation plan of the Company based on value chain orientation will be proposed.That is to extend from the in vitro diagnostic sales circulation to the downstream application market,to reposition it as Sales circulation plus application which plays the role of "medical laboratory overall solution" service provider,and to propose the implementation of safeguards for transformation programs from the perspective of organizational structure,corporate culture and human resources.The above research takes the in vitro diagnostic industry as the background,conforms to the development trend and laws of the industry,and points out the direction for the development of the in vitro diagnostic industry which can provide a transformation reference for peers,and can also promote graded diagnosis and treatment,medical association,major disease prevention,chronic disease management and the effectively implemented the policy of the medical reform.
