Statistical Process Control(SPC) is a process control tool that uses the applied mathematical statistics.It analyzes and evaluates the production process using statistical techniques such as quality characteristics and control charts.Once the production started,it,firstly,set the appropriate indexes for the production process.Then,compared the relevant data reflected in the production process to the setting value,it allows each index to be restricted to a certain range during the production process.This can effectively control the defect rate,reduce the cost and improve the quality for product.With the arrival of age of more and more keen competition of knowledge and economy,every enterprise keep on endeavoring to gain more space of development and power of speech.It need the enterprise pay more attention to the market share of the product which call higher request on the product's quality.There are many questions about it.E.g.how to control the quality,reduce the defective rate,transform the quality management from result control to progress control to eradicate the problem of product quality in the process control but not in the final inspection.The aim is to ensure the consistency and stability of the product quality.Therefore,many enterprises introduce the SPC statistic control technology to strengthen product quality.In this paper,the product defective rate,process flow,key features,cost accounting,and inspection methods for product quality were described by taking the quality management of D chassis as the research object in JL company.The status quo of quality management for D chassis was also described and analyzed based on theoretical research at home and abroad.The current problems in quality management were pointed out.According to the actual situation within the company,SPC was introduced to enhance the quality of production processes.According to the implementation steps of the SPC,the key features of the D chassis are first collected,then the appropriate control charts are selected and analyzed.By analyzing the data fluctuations of control charts,the key features of the D chassis such as quality problems and the instability of product size can be forewarned in the manufacturing process.It transforms production method from early results control to process control in the JL company.Moreover,through timely founding and solving the problems,JL company developed a suitable SPC application program for D chassis quality control.Then it carries out the corresponding auxiliary measurement and statistics by using the computer technology.Finally,through the establishment of the SPC quality control system,it makes an example of SPC technology in product quality control for JL company.
