SPC has been proved to be an effective way to prevent problems and improve work efficiency,especially in the automotive industry quality management,SPC can effectively control the characteristics of the product,And in the actual production process to help reduce costs,meanwhile can help the company improve the competitive advantage.B Company is specializing in the production of piston pins,mainly used in the automotive engine industry.This thesis mainly explains B's use of SPC statistical technology in the centerless grinding process for the roughness and the outer diameter and how to select the SPC software,according to the product characteristics reasonable,how to choose the use of control chart,select the sampling methods,sampling frequency.The successful implementation of SPC software and to achieve the objects of prevention of problems,reduce waste,improve the quality of the product.This thesis mainly introduces the basic theory and control methods of SPC,and uses X-MR diagram(single value moving range chart),SPC software,Minitab software to manage and control the key characteristics of B Company's product,finally,reduced the scrap rate effectively and improved the competitiveness of the company.These theories and practices have practical significance and reference for other related enterprises.
