With the economic globalization and the development of China's reform and development in the past 40 years,China's railways,especially high-speed railways,have developed rapidly.The national railway network scale ranks the first in the world,and the high-speed railway equipment takes the lead in the world,which put forward higher requirements for the operation and management of railway enterprises.Building a talented team with excellent style,strong ability and high quality is an important way to promote the safe,sustainable and steady development of railway enterprises,among which the performance evaluation system of railway enterprises is an effective tool to realize the development and reasonable utilization of talents.This paper chooses the employee performance appraisal of Tai Zhong Yin Railway Co.Ltd as the research object.Firstly,this paper establishes the background and significance of the research,reviews the status quo of domestic and foreign research.Secondly,this paper discusses the def inition,function,principle and influence factors of employee performance appraisal from relevant theories,and outlines the relevant methods of employee performance appraisal.Thirdly,through interview and questionnaire,this paper analyses the current situation,existing problems and causes of problems of the existing employee performance appraisal system of Tai Zhong Yin Railway Co.Ltd.On this basis,the performance evaluation subject,object,cycle and dimensions are determined,the performance eval uation index system for managers and staff is established by applying the method of the key indicators,the performance evaluation index weight is calculated by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and Yaahp software,a set of scientific staff performance appraisal system is designed for Tai Zhong Yin Railway Co.Ltd;Finally,the corresponding safeguard is proposed on how to implement the employee performance appraisal system.It should be pointed out that the performance assessment of the managers and staff involved in the transportation production station is conducted by the railway bureau,which is out of the scope of this paper.The research objects of this paper are the managers and staff of Tai Zhong Yin Railway Co.Ltd.Through the research on the performance appraisal system of employees for Tai Zhong Yin Railway Co.Ltd,this paper improves the company performance management system,sets up in accordance with enterprise practical safeguard measures,helps to arouse the enthusiasm of employee s,and increases company effectiveness.It also has certain reference significance for enterprises in related fields to explore and establish employee performance appraisal system.
