Research On Anti-fraud Intention And Influencing Factors Of Vehicle Insurance Claimants

China's vehicle insurance achieved premium income of more than 746.1 billion yuan in 2017,accounting for 70%of the total premium income of China's property insurance(1054.138 billion yuan),which occupies a pivotal position in China's insurance market.However,with the rapid development of the automobile industry and insurance industry,vehicle insurance fraud is becoming more and more serious,bringing tens of billions of direct economic losses to China's vehicle insurance industry.In recent years,vehicle insurance fraud has shown a trend of gangs,big cases and concealment,which has brought severe challenges to the anti-fraud work of insurance companies.At present,the anti-fraud work of insurance industry mainly relies on the claim settlement team of each insurance company.However,from the actual effect of anti-fraud of vehicle insurance,there are large number of fraud cases that have not been effectively identified.Even if the cases of fraud clues are found,they are also in customers because of insufficient evidence,long investigation cycle and other factors.Under the external pressure of complaints and media reports,insurance companies are forced to pay premium in advance,which not only causes economic losses,but also seriously endangers the fair and just financial market order.At this stage,when the insurance company claims officers face the car insurance fraud cases,the performance of car insurance fraud prevention awareness is not high,anti-fraud confidence is insufficient,the intention to attack car insurance is not strong.As the main responsibility of anti-fraud work,once the subjective will of anti-fraud problems,will directly affect the whole industry's anti-fraud work.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the anti-fraud intention and its influencing factors of insurance claimants.Based on the full investigation of the anti-fraud situation of the vehicle insurance industry in China,and combined with the insurance fraud theory,this paper makes an empirical analysis with Logistic econometrics model to study the main factors affecting the anti-fraud intention of vehicle insurance claimants.To provide theoretical and practical data support for insurance companies engaged in vehicle insurance business in China in dealing with the problem of vehicle insurance fraud and formulating anti-fraud policies,so as to arouse the awareness of anti-fraud and anti-fraud claimants,enhance the anti-fraud ability and promote the healthy and rapid development of the vehicle insurance industry in China.Through empirical analysis,we get the following conclusions:It can be found that besides the basic factors of the gender and age of the claimant,the successful experience of the individual anti-fraud,the reward of the company to the anti-fraud personnel,the daily workload pressure,the understanding of the anti-fraud related laws,and the ways to enhance the ability of the individual anti-fraud have a significant impact on the anti-fraud intention of the claimant.However,there is no significant relationship between external customer complaints and intimidation threats and the intention of claims filers to fight fraud.Finally,based on the above empirical study on the intention and influencing factors of vehicle insurance anti-fraud,this paper puts forward some suggestions to enhance the intention of vehicle insurance anti-fraud of insurance claimants,such as establishing and improving the risk management system and mechanism of internal fraud of insurance companies,establishing the reward and punishment system of breaking up claims,and building the anti-fraud system of all insurance claimants.We should actively carry out anti-fraud training,popularize anti-fraud related legal knowledge,enhance anti-fraud skills of claims settlement personnel,and conduct anti-fraud professional post division.
