In 2007,China officially became a member of the FATF after the third round of mutual evaluation of the FATF.Since then,China has made great progress in its anti-money laundering work.From 2018 to 2019,the FATF will conduct the fourth round of mutual evaluation for China.The mutual evaluation results will not only have a major impact on China's anti-money laundering work.It will also play an important role in establishing a good political and economic image of China.Although the insurance industry has developed rapidly in recent years,the premium scale fast growth,but due to historical and realistic reasons,the insurance industry anti-money laundering work is not smooth,still face a greater risk of money laundering,criminal main way of money laundering include:group a do,new insurance products,insurance policy loan,business change,Banks,third-party payment,Internet insurance agent policy,policy loans and discount,etc.Based on the risk of money laundering faced by the insurance industry,this paper analyzes the status quo of anti-money laundering in the insurance industry in China,combines the internal control system of the insurance company,considers the internal and industrial environment comprehensively,and finds out the deficiencies in the anti-money laundering work of the insurance industry.Subsequently,the regulatory mechanism of the anti-money laundering supervision department for the insurance industry was analyzed and the existing problems of anti-money laundering supervision were found out.Finally,taking into account the principle of "risk-based" in international anti-money laundering work,and combining with the regulatory system of the United States,and based on China's national conditions,the author puts forward a number of anti-money laundering regulatory Suggestions from the aspects of system level,information construction level,incentive and constraint mechanism and regulatory system.
