| The tourism industry plays an important role in the promotion and social development of the national economy.The island tourism has become popular in many tourist products because of its natural advantages.At present,the development of the island tourism is often characterized by the lack of characteristics of the island resources,the insufficient excavation of the sea culture of the island,the excessive dependence on tourism and the low economic benefit of the tourism.The development of island tourism is the inevitable choice.Firstly,this study expounds the background and significance of the topic selection,and gives the basis for taking West Island as the object of study.Secondly,it explains the concept of island tourism and clarifies the research objects.This study selects the theory of sustainable development,the theory of tourists` behavior,and the theory of industrial transformation and upgrading as the main theoretical basis.In this paper,these theories are studied,and the development process and the latest theoretical progress are analyzed.In addition,this study summarizes the advanced cases of island tourism development at home and abroad,analyzes its development ideas and development status,and sums up the lessons that can be used for reference.Summed up a set of island tourism development principles and general ideas.Finally,taking the West Island of Sanya as an example,this study attempts to study the transformation and upgrading of island tourism industry.The basic conditions of the West Island are combed,the internal and external conditions of the West Island are analyzed,and the status of the tourism industry in West Island is analyzed from the scenic spots,hotels and transportation services,and the theory of sustainable development,the theory of tourists' behavior and the theory of tourism industry transformation and upgrading are combined.The conclusion is that West Island transformation path,upgrading path and industrial structure optimization path. |
