In the process of global integration,competition among cities has spread to the world,and cities in countries around the world have become increasingly competitive with limited resources such as human resources,resources,and funds.In this round of urban competition,the concept of an eco-city has gradually surpassed the concept of urban construction in the traditional sense.It not only pursues the beauty of urban natural environment from the perspectives of environmental protection,ecological restoration,and pollution prevention,but also enhances the economic competitiveness of the city and residents.Cultural identity,and starting from the concept of harmony between man and nature,the overall adjustment of social,economic and cultural factors,so that efficient and livable ecological city construction has become an important measure for sustainable development in global competition.Under this competitive trend,a number of successful and differentiated eco-city brands have emerged,showing us the planning and implementation of the eco-city,and how to correct and solve problems and conflicts in urban modernization and other urban brands.The construction and brand propagation pathways help people to recognize the relationship between the development of ecological cities and global urban competition,and between ecological cities and the basic needs of human development.This article attempts to sort out the existing eco-city and urban brand related theories,summarize the world's successful eco-city brand case,study its path to build the city brand,explore the general laws of different types of eco-city construction of urban brands,Then through a case study of Hangzhou,a model city for building an eco-city brand in China,and an ecological city with a similar degree to China's national conditions and having world influence,combined with the analysis of issues in the process of constructing an eco-city brand in China,A large number of cities in China that attempt to build an eco-city brand offer experience that can be used for reference,and explore the construction path of an eco-city brand that suits China's national conditions.
