The Value Reversion Of Modern Management In The View Of Critique Of Instrumental Rationality

Looking back on the development process of modern management in recent one hundred years,modern management and practice under the leading of instrumental rationality have promoted the development and modernization of human society.However,as the human society gradually entered the ecological civilization from industrial civilization,the management mode based on tool rationality has split the relationship between people,management and society,resulting in the development predicament of modern management and the serious harm to the human living environment.Therefore,human should deeply analyze its own value,reflect on the concept of modern management and the status of development in the view of critique of instrumental rationality,analyze the root of the modern crises in the management system,and seek a feasible way for the value reversion of modern management.This paper uses the method of historical analysis to trace the process of germination and development of rationality,then analyzes the concrete manifestation of instrumental rationality in modern management on the basis of accurately grasping the concept of instrumental rationality.Teasing out the evolutionary process of instrumental rationality in all different management periods,and pointing out the positive effect that it helps improving management efficiency,standardizing management system and promoting the technicalization of management means in modern management practice.Emphasizing the humanistic crises,technological crises and ecological crises caused by the lack of care for value rationality in modern management system,deeply exploring and dialectical thinking the ideological and social roots of the crises.This paper discusses the organic integration of instrumental rationality and value rationality inmodern management from a practical standpoint,in order to explore the benign way of development of modern management.It also tries to provide a possible way of thinking for the study of philosophy of management by combining the management thought of "ecological man",which accords with the characteristics of the times.This research finds that seeking the value reversion after the critique of instrumental rationality is the realistic choice of removing the alienation of modern management,and the management thought of "ecological man" is undoubtedly a way that worth studing and realizing.In the period of economic growth and development,this management thought is the reconstruction of the humanistic feelings in modern management behind the social progress,and the appeing of human beings for the correct value rationality.It allows economic goals and value creation to be harmonized,adapts the sustainable development trende in the era of ecological civilization,and is beneficial to build the harmonious development of human itself and the relationship between human and nature,human and human in the modern management.
