Research On The Relationship Between Urbanization Level And Land Use Change In Xi'an

Since the 18th Nation.al Party Congress,the state has stressed that we must stick to the path of new urbanization with Chinese characteristics and promote the simultaneous development of industrialization,informatization,urbanization,and agricultural modernization.On the one hand,land use will restrict the development of urbanization.On the other hand,urbanization will also have a strong impact on regional land use.Studying the relationship between urbanization level and land use change has important theoretical and practical significance for realizing the positive interaction between urbanization and land use and promoting the sound and rapid development of regional economy and society.This article takes Xi'an as the research object,chooses the composite index method to construct the comprehensive evaluation index system of urbanization level,uses the entropy method to calculate the urbanization level score based on the Matlab program,and analyzes population,economy,society,space and ecology of Xi'an urbanization development status from the time dimension.Based on the land use data of Xi'an in 2000,2010 and 2015,combined with GIS technology,the quantitative structure and spatial pattern of land use in Xi'an are studied.On the basis of the qualitative analysis of the factors affecting the urbanization level and the change of land use in Xi'an,the econometric model is introduced,and the quantitative research of the urbanization level and land use change in Xi'an is carried out by using the Eviews software.Main conclusions are as follows:(1)From 2000 to 2015,the comprehensive level of urbanization in Xi'an has generally risen from 0.0073 in 2000 to 0.1480 in 2015,achieving a 20-fold high growth rate,and the overall development has accelerated.The sub-systems of urbanization show a clear upward trend,manifest as social,ecological,and economic urbanization leading spatial urbanization and population urbanization.It is a more coordinated mode of urbanization development.(2)The temporal characteristics of land use change in Xi'an in 2000,2010 and 2015 are studied from the aspects of land use change amplitude,speed,degree and diversity.The main types of land use in Xi'an are cultivated land,woodland and grassland.The largest reduction in cultivated land area is achieved,with a decrease of 388.74km2,and the area of construction land increased by 453.55km,increasing by 54.71%.Land use types are frequently converted to each other,and spatial characteristics of land use changes are analyzed for land use types with a large area proportion,including cultivated land,forest grassland,water areas,and construction land.(3)Qualitatively researching the relationship between urbanization level and land use change in Xi'an from the aspects of national strategy,local government behavior,population growth,industrial structure adjustment,etc.At the same time,the econometric model is introduced,Eviews software is used to quantitatively study the relationship between urbanization level and land use change through stationarity test,cointegration analysis,error correction and Granger causality analysis,then put forward the opinions and suggestions for future development.
