In the past few years,scale of Chinese logistics industry has taken on booming trends with the rapid development of national economy.Express delivery in China mainly rely on highway transportation,which annual market sales have up to trillion and engaged over 800,000 logistics enterprises.Deppon ranked top one who achieved ten billions,others like Tian Dihuayu,AnNeng,Baishi and Jijie realized 3 billion.However,the top five logistics enterprises accounted for only 3% of the total market.On the contrast,America top 5 enterprises monopolized 60%.On the fact of it,Chinese logistics market is still under-mature and full of keen competition.Express market characterized a wide range of businesses,types of goods,complex customers and diverse demands,as a result of that,standardized logistics products currently cannot meet the requirements of personalized transportation.In our country,the majority of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises only have single lines available;it's impossible for them to cover the whole network and embarrassed to cope with varied customer in current.Small,medium-sized,and small-scale logistics enterprises that cannot expand are gradually showing management and service lagging behind.With the increasing competition in the logistics market,small and medium-sized logistics companies are facing severe challenges.How to identify their own strategic positioning of competition and improve their core competitiveness has become particularly important.China's small and medium-sized logistics companies have their own advantages and disadvantages.They also face enormous opportunities and challenges.Effective differentiation strategies can help enterprises to get rid of the pressure of homogenous competition,gain competitive advantages,obtain excess profits,and increase market share.This paper takes GM Logistics Co.,Ltd as example,This article takes GM Logistics Co.,Ltd.as the research object,based on the company's operating status and the grim situation facing the entire logistics industry,starting from the company's competitive strategic environment analysis,comprehensively analyzes its internal and external environment,and lays a foundation for strategic research.Through further SWOT analysis,Identify the strengths and weaknesses of its own development,analyze its opportunities and threats,and propose alternative strategies for competition.Combined with the development of GM logistics company,Differentiation strategy is evaluated to determine the competitive strategy suitable for GM Logistics Co.,Ltd.and the specific implementation protection is given.This article has certain reference value for other small and micro logistics enterprises in the formulation of competitive strategies.
