Potato is the fourth grain crop,Hunan province is also the important potato crops.The development of potato industry was promoted to the national development strategy of countries with the development of potato industry,and build up a well-off society of staple food culture,to ensure national food security and stability,promote the sustainable development of the agriculture and the quality and efficiency.But the Hunan potato industry has the extensive mode of growth high pressure,many problems such as backward production mode and the transformation and upgrading of enterprises,so it is urgent to study the Hunan province potato industry.The potato industry in Hunan Province as the research object,in the current situation and problem of the potato industry in Hunan province with the macro dataThe descriptive statistics and analysis,pointed out the orientation of Hunan potato industry,development characteristics and development potential.This study also analyzed situation of potato production in Hunan Province,including the regional distribution,area and yield,seed resources and technology utilization.The Hunan province potato input-output condition and current situation of industrialization the analysis of a macroscopic descriptive statistics.According to the investigation data of potato micro typical planting area,establish the multiple regression model of influencing factors on the development of potato industry,according to the analysis results of regression model,to find out the factors influencing the development of potato industry in Hunan Province,aiming at these problems,we put forward some reasonable countermeasures for potato production units,to provide reference for the processing enterprises and research departments.The research conclusion of this paper are:(1)the development advantages of Hunan potato industry.The main advantages are: superior natural conditions,geographical advantage,the strong momentum of development,dongxiantian advantage and price advantage.(2)the Hunan potato industry in the production,processing,sales and other related problems.The main problems are link infrastructure is not perfect,the small scale of production;mechanization degree is not high,hindering the process of industrialization;industry development lags behind,enterprises lack of development potential;the market system is not perfect,sales difficult;seed system is not complete,the supply of high-quality special resources;farmers for planting,etc.the lack of scientific guidance.(3)Hunan province potato yield is mainly affected by the planting area,capital investment,influencing factors of planting technology and sales satisfaction.According to the above research conclusion and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.
