Study Of Cost Control Of Qinhuangdao Seaview Hotel

The main purpose of this study is to change the poor effect of Qinhuangdao Seaview Hotel cost control management witch simple caters to the low budget target,and to build the hotel core competitiveness by improving the cost management to achieve long-term strategic goals.In the article,the literature,quantitative analysis were used.Firstly,the article defined the concept of cost control and introduced the principles of cost control of hotel industry,then focused on the theory of strategic cost control,analyzed the basic framework of strategic cost management and the significance of implementing strategic cost management.Secondly,by analyzing the current work in Qinhuangdao Seaview hotel cost,we found the following problems in the cost control work: procurement fail to meet demand at the optimal price,overstock,lax,catering cost is too high,unreasonable control method and management pattern does not adapt to the external environment change.Thirdly,the article analyzed the internal and external value chains of Qinhuangdao Seaview Hotel,and analyzed the operation cost of key points in the value chain,studied the impact of various operations on the value-added activities in the value chain.Based on this,we proposed optimization plans to solve the problems,including optimizing the procurement process,improving the procurement management and inventory management,establishing a performance appraisal system linked to cost control,and establishing a flexible business and service model.At last,in order to the cost control optimization program of Qinhuangdao Seaview Hotel can be implemented effectively the article proposed the supporting measure to the improving plan,including organizational guarantees,system guarantees,staff guarantees and facility guarantees.
