Research On The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Korean Economic Development Model Supported By Conglomerate

South Korea's economy started in the 1960 s,with the first "five-year economic development plan" as a symbol,began the industrialization process.At this time the implementation of the Korean government to promote export-oriented economic development strategy,which greatly promoted the rapid development of their economies.In a short period of 20 years,South Korea by the world's poorest and backward one of the countries,became a medium-developed developed countries,known as the one of "Asian four dragons".The 70's,South Korea announced and began to implement the "heavy chemical industry development plan" to promote a large number of investment to the heavy chemical industry tilt.Shipbuilding,steel,automobile,electronics,petrochemical and other industrial industries have been an unprecedented development.South Korea's urbanization process also began to accelerate.The process of economic liberalization in the 1980 s accelerated.The government embarked on structural adjustment of the economy.The Korean government requires large enterprises to merge and reorganize,which makes many large enterprise groups and chaebol in the fields of automobile,machinery manufacturing,smelting and shipbuilding.South Korea's large enterprises and chaebol once became the pillar of South Korea's economic development.According to the 2016 "National Enterprise Social Contribution Survey",South Korea's 20 major corporate groups created a total of 87.6 trillion won in national income,14.7 trillion won in state income and 1.35 million jobs.Samsung Electronics,Hyundai Motor,Kia Motors,SK Hynix,LG Electronics and other enterprises is the most contribution to the Korean economy enterprises.South Korea in the short term to achieve brilliant achievements,the main reason is to take in line with their own national conditions of the development model.As a typical representative of the "East Asian Miracle",the Korean government adopts the government to actively intervene in the development model of industry and economy.The characteristic of this model is that the government is fully involved in economic planning,formulate macroeconomic development strategy and industrial policy,Guide the promising industry,encourage large enterprise groups to actively explore the market.It is these measures that make the Korean economy achieve leapfrog development.However,the 1997 Asian financial crisis,the Korean economy suffered heavy losses,as the mainstay of the Korean economy,the Korean Enterprise Group(Chaebol)also had to change the point.Their own problems are gradually exposed: such as enterprise groups to develop large plans fast,excessive pursuit of diversification,too much emphasis on low-cost expansion,emphasis on asset management neglect of production and management.These problems not only hinder the development of their own enterprises,but also to rely on large enterprises in the Korean economy has brought great problems.On the basis of the previous literature,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the economic development model of the Korean economy supported by the large enterprises,and puts forward the suggestions to speed up the adjustment and reform of the enterprises themselves,pay attention to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises The reform proposal is not only beneficial to the economic development of Korea,but also has a lot of reference for China's economic development in the structural transformation and the reform of state-owned enterprises.
