Research On The Application And Implementation Of Mass Customization In Traditional Manufacturing Industry

In the new economic era which represented by network,information,knowledge and high technology,traditional manufacturing industry has gradually reached a new historical stage.With the development of social economy,the living standard enhanced day by day,per capita disposable income has increased year by year.People are no longer satisfied with original and single consumption needs.The traditional consumption model which people only buy goods that industries have produced doesn't rest content with them.The pursuit of personalized is increasing,the change of consumption needs in the market is becoming more and more subtle.The products' iteration at a staggering rate.The background of traditional manufacturing is undergoing great changes,Mass production mode are boom in industrial economy era,however,it's not suitable for today due to the single and heavy production pattern.Traditional manufacturing industry has to make a change,it is extremely urgent to make a revolution of production pattern.In this situation,mass customization production mode is born at the right moment.There are many traditional manufacturing enterprises in the world have started to remodel their production mode with the idea of intelligent manufacturing,and gradually transform the production mode to mass customization.In this paper,a case study of Suofeiya,the whole process of transformation of Suofeiya production mode will be introduced.Under the detailed analysis of the old production mode,the problems will be pointed out,and the necessity of the transformation of production mode will be further expounded.On this basis,this paper will introduce the mass customization production mode after the transformation.In the meantime,there are two angles of view(scale economy and product differentiation to analyze their influence on Suofeiya.Finally,In order to Dupont Financial Analysis System for the basic framework,analyzing the change of financial index through the process of transformation of Suofeiya production mode.And then,a conclusion will be draw that if the transformation can make a sense of profitability of Suofeiya.Also,some pertinent advice on how to improve profitability of Suofeiya will be raised.According to the study of this paper: Because of the transformation of production models,Suofeiya reduce the unit cost of product effectively,it is obvious that the production efficiency has improved,and rate of stock turnover has increased sharply.From the above,they all make the profitability of Suofeiya has improved significantly.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to transform the traditional manufacturing industry into mass customization production mode.
