As a special economic zone in the Pearl River Delta,Zhuhai City has currently formed a three-footed state with state-owned logistics enterprises,large private logistics enterprises,and small and medium-sized logistics enterprises.Because the economic growth of Zhuhai City has slowed down in recent years,the economic competition among various logistics enterprises becomes very fierce.Although the Zhuhai Municipal Government has supported small and medium-sized logistics enterprises to some extent,the survival and development of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises is still worrying.The discussion of the survival and development of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises has become a realistic issue in the study of Zhuhai City's logistics industry,and it is of great significance to promote the development of the small and medium-sized logistics enterprises.Baian Logistics Center is a private logistics enterprise.Its main business is to provide third-party logistics transportation and rental of self-managed warehouses.Affected by the macro economy,the business volume of the company's third-party logistics and warehouse leasing has slowed down.However,the opening of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge at the end of 2017 and the relocation of Jiuzhou Port in Zhuhai create a unique geographical location for Baian Logistics Center.And being acquired by the state-owned Zhuhai Port Group not only provides abundant capital for Baian Logistics Center,but also injects new impetus into the company's development.How can Baian Logistics Center take this opportunity to become bigger and stronger becomes a real problem for the company.Based on relevant management theories and analysis tools,this study uses Baian Logistics Center as a case to analyze the company's operating conditions and challenges.The conclusion is that the company's diversified development business is too monotonous and its main business grows slowly.It is unable to make full use of great development opportunities brought about by internal and external environmental changes.In order to realize the company's strategic operation objectives,the company should strengthen the development of transportation and warehousing as its core business.Moreover,it should also develop diversified new business in the logistics park to a deeper and more pluralistic direction.
