Currently,China is facing the pressure of huge population.People's need of residence,and the contradiction that theindemnificatory apartments cannot satisfy the publichave shown up.Focusing on the current situation of the construction of the indemnificatory apartments,the Twelfth Five-Year Plan clearly points out the nation will continuously construct the indemnificatory apartments.For this huge program which aims to improve the quality of livelihood,its potential effect of satisfying the actual needs of the public and reaching the sustainable development could only be evaluated after the completion.The evaluation and collection of information can be applied to the management of construction of indemnificatory apartments.The evaluation could provide constructive suggestion in both theory and practice.This article introduces the current situation of the post-project evaluation methods based on the relevant and massive established articles.The research object is the public rental housing in the indemnificatory housing system.Applying the methods combined with qualitative and quantitative and using the method of preparation,on-site observation,communication,and data verification,author analyzes the particular public rental housing project in the development area of Xi'an,main focusing on the comparing the difference between expected outcome and real outcome of the establishment of the project,land,design,construction,cost,operation,and other aspects.In the conclusion,the effect of being a possible policy to regulate and improve the indemnificatory housing system is proved.It has a relatively better economic and social benefic.Meanwhile,author gives the suggestions for the improvements at each stage in order to complete thedefects of the whole construction.This will proved theoretical and practical evidence for the similar investment projects and construction in the future.
