Economy hotel usually refers to the hotel which is mainly in the guestroom operation and small in scale.This kind of hotel is relatively high-end hotel,although the function is not too complete,but because of its lower price,it is also favored by the target customers.With more and more foreign brand hotels joining and the rapid development of local hotels,the competition of hotel industry is becoming more and more fierce,especially economic hotels.How to obtain the competitive advantage in the competition of economical hotel? Cost leading is one of the most important tools to gain competitive advantage.On the one hand,cost-leading can increase the competitive advantage of hotels,on the other hand,it can also increase the economic profits of hotels.But in the knowledge economy,Under the background,the traditional cost management method has many shortcomings,the traditional cost management theory has been very difficult to explain the actual value-added process of economic hotels,so from the perspective of the value chain to analyze the economic hotel value creation process,Thus,the paper studies how to reduce the cost of each value production process,which makes the analysis more scientific and strategic significance.From the perspective of value chain,this paper studies the cost management of economic Y hotel in order to improve the cost management level of Y hotel and provide useful reference for the cost management work of other economy hotel.This paper mainly uses the method of combining literature research and case study,based on the perspective of value chain,to study the cost management of economical Y hotel.First of all,this paper describes the research background and significance,research ideas and research methods,and from the perspective of value chain cost management to sort out and review the relevant literature.In today's buyer's market,how to obtain competitive advantage becomes the key,and the effective cost management has been paid more and more attention to by managers in the hotel industry.Furthermore,it clarifies the relevant theories of value chain cost management.The traditional cost management mode "on cost theory" cannot be reversed in all directions.Reflecting the hotel cost management situation,is not conducive to the improvement of hotel internal control level.This provides a basic analysis framework for the cost management of Y hotel by using the cost management theory of value chain and hotel value chain.One of the characteristics of economy hotel is price economy,cost management is especially important for economy hotel.The disadvantages of traditional cost management are becoming more and more obvious.Strategic cost management based on the strategic perspective to control the cost has become the focus of attention.Therefore,this paper also analyzes the current situation of Y hotel cost management,further finds out the problems in Y hotel cost management,and analyzes the reasons for its emergence.In order to study economy hotel from the angle of value chain in strategic cost management,analyze the internal and external environment of SWOT of hotel Y,and provide the basis for the positioning of economy market of hotel Y,we can carry out it in a more comprehensive way.This management,better build the long-term competitive advantage of economic hotel.At the same time,it analyzes the value chain composition of economic Y hotel.From the internal and external value chain,this paper expounds the value chain elements of Y hotel,and puts forward the scheme of combining the internal and external value chain of the economic Y hotel,taking the value network as the foundation.By connecting the external value and the internal value to analyze the specific and effective cost management mode of Y hotel operating cost,the motivation makes a specific and detailed analysis.It is expected to provide some suggestions for the management of the operating cost of the economical Y hotel.Value chain is a new type of economic model which is suitable for the effective communication between different market elements by analyzing the resources owned by different individuals and teams in the market.It can adapt to the development and update of modern technology,and make the effect of one plus one more than two.This paper analyzes the value creation process of the economical Y hotel from the perspective of value network,and puts forward the cost management measures based on the value chain in the three stages of purchase,service and sales.It is considered that information-based management measures are proposed in the procurement phase based on the value chain,including the establishment of Hotel purchasing plan,consummating hotel purchasing standard,adopting 12 N method chosen by hotel supplier,putting forward 5S management based on value chain in service stage,The flexibility of hotel service and the cost management measures of hotel cost accounting are added,and the method of forming promotion alliance with hotel-related enterprises is put forward based on the value chain in the sales stage.Introducing the hotel product portfolio and zero-delay service and using the network to improve the quality of hotel pre-sale after-sales service and other aspects of cost management measures.This is the important research content of the article.In order to study how to reduce the cost of each value production process,so that the results of the analysis More scientific and strategic significance.Finally,the conclusion and prospect of this paper are put forward.To study the cost management of economic Y hotel from the value chain perspective,to change the cost accounting inaccuracy in the cost management of economic Y hotel in the past,as well as to pursue the low cost too much,is beneficial to the discovery value of Y hotel and the process of creating value.It will certainly improve the economic efficiency and competitive power of the hotel.At the same time,it is expected that this study will provide useful reference for the cost management of other economical hotels.
