The spatial structure of tourist attractions is a hot issue in China's tourism geography.Based on the study of the spatial structure at home and abroad, this paper takes the A-grade scenic spot of the Gansu section of the Silk Road as the research object, adopts GIS spatial analysis methods and mathematical statistical classification methods, and systematically studies Gansu Province from two dimensions of time and space. The spatial structure of the A-class scenic spots and draws the following conclusions:(1)The number of Grade A tourist attractions in the Gansu section of the Silk Road shows a trend of continuous increase year by year, and the number of scenic spots within the area has grown unbalanced.(2)The grade structure of Grade A tourist attractions in the Gansu section of the Silk Road has been unbalanced, with large intermediate structures and two small spindle structures.(3)From 2007 to 2017,the spatial distribution of the Grade A tourist attractions in the Gansu section of the Silk Road in Gansu Province has become more and more intensive and more and more in the province, but there are differences among regions.(4)From 2007 to 2017,the nearest index of Grade A tourist attractions in Gansu Province was between 0.5<R<0.8.It was judged that the 11-year spatial distribution types were all aggregated—random distribution, and the overall tendencies were aggregated.(5)The degree of balance in the spatial distribution of the A-class tourist attractions in the Gansu section of the Silk Road was measured. This shows that although the spatial distribution of the A-class tourist attractions in Gansu Province has a different degree of balance among regions and municipalities,it is generally highly concentrated, uneven characteristics.(6)The spatial distribution pattern of Grade A tourist attractions in the Gansu section of the Silk Road shows the pattern of distribution along major rivers, railways, and road trunk lines,as well as dense distribution in rivers, railways, and road dense areas, and emerges as the center of six core growth.Radiation to the outside, driving the development of the law.(7)Construct a spatial structure system of Grade A tourist attractions in Gansu Province by using the “point-axis system” theory, and draw the conclusion that Gansu Province should be driven by primary nodes and axes, secondary nodes and axes, and tertiary nodes and axes.Which in turn led the entire region's tourist attractions and tourism development ideas. Finally, through the conclusions, the paper analyzes the problems existing in the spatial structure of the A-grade tourist attractions in the Gansu section of the Silk Road, and proposes corresponding optimization strategies: increase the development of tourism resources;strengthen the establishment of high-grade tourist attractions;strengthen the construction of tourism transport infrastructure;strengthen Investment and construction efforts;training growth will promote the optimization of tourism scenic spot structure;give play to the advantages of location to realize the leading role of the core to the peripheral areas;and apply the “point-axis” system theory to guide the optimization of the spatial structure of tourist attractions.
