The construction industry is a basic pillar industry in China's national economy.It plays an irreplaceable role in the development of China's national economy and labor market and employment.As China's economy has entered the new stage of normal development,the growth rate of fixed asset investment has begun to show a declining trend.It is impossible for construction companies to rely on increasing the amount of business to achieve development.The role that professionals can play in the transformation of enterprise management will become more and more prominent.However,the current traditional incentive system adopted by building enterprises couldn't effectively mobilize the staffs and arouse their enthusiasm.The enterprises and managers always hope that there will be an incentive mechanism that can both effectively inspire employees and drive the company's business growth.Therefore,in recent years,a system called “business partnership” has emerged in the upstream sector of the construction industry—the real estate industry.It has attracted the attention from insiders of the industry,as a new incentive method that integrates long-term and short-term works and associates enterprise with employee.This paper points out the shortcomings of their system generally applied in the construction industry and enterprises at present.Through studying the incentive system of other excellent enterprises in China,combining with the characteristics of the construction industry and the actual situation of Ningbo R Construction Engineering Co.,Ltd.,this paper analyzes the feasibility and necessity of implementing the business partnership incentive system in construction companies.And a business partnership incentive system that meets the real needs of R company has been proposed.Different from traditional incentive system,the business partnership incentive system does not change the ownership structure of the company.The project management team is able to participate in the allocation of income.Employees are encouraged to become project partners through investment and participating in the project management.In this way,the interests of the employees and enterprise are closely and continuously linked to each other,both the benefits and risks of individuals and the whole enterprise are shared.This type of incentive system not only enhances the competitiveness of construction companies,but also creates a win-win situation for both the employees and enterprises.
