Research On The Influencing Factors Of Foreign Organization's Forms Of Chinese Insurance Companies

In the 21st century,With the development of economic and financial globalization,large enterprises has started to break the national boundaries,go abroad to enter the overseas capital markets,while cross-border operations is an effective way to adapt to the international environment,not only can improve their strength,but also enhance the international market influence.Since the reform and opening up,Chinese government promote the enterprises to go abroad to improve competitiveness,so as to promote better the development of domestic industries.In the financial industry,the insurance is the first to go out,and thus it has some practical significance to study on the cross-border operation of the Chinese insurance company.In this paper,it has conduct a comprehensive analysis on the motives,ways and problems of the cross-border operation,and ultimately focus on the issue of choice of the insurance company.As a financial services industry,insurance company has its own characteristics,it determined the choice of the ownership-based approach when the insurance company conduct the cross-border operation.specifically,the choice can be divided into its own expansion,acquisitions and alliances this three ways,while at present,the Chinese insurance company is still weak,most of them still choose the first way.It refers to establish a local branch office in the host country.There are three major expansion when their organizational forms are available:subsidiaries,affiliates and agents offices.It has a very important impact on the competitiveness of the foreign institutions to make a right form choice.It also can effect the progress of cross-border operations of the insurance company.So it is very necessary to analyze the impact of various factors.This paper is based on previous scholars studies,added to this dimension of governance relations to analyze the factors of the organization forms,and to explore how the factors will affect the competitiveness of various foreign bodies and the mechanism of this action.Data collected through the questionnaire,it use structural equation modeling to analyze and draws on the final conclusion:Factors which has a direct impact on the competitiveness are overseas institutions outside of insurance company and the governance relationships between overseas institutions outside and insurance company,in addition,the role of governance is more important.The other three factors(the host country,the terms of the home country and the company terms)can make an influence on these two factors to influence overseas competitiveness.
