As e-commerce website rapidly develops,increasing more and more people begin to consume online.Not only youngsters,the middle-aged but also the elders,all start to browse e-commerce websites,which at the same time brings about protection issue of personal information of e-commerce users.When Google breached Privacy Protection Code in 2014,it got penalized with fifteen Euros by French government,and was explicitly ordered to rectify privacy policy of its website.In 2015,Google website modified its privacy testimony,and the announcement of its new privacy policy received considerable attentions worldwide.In 2017,Jingdong Mall also modified its privacy policy and aroused hot discussions nationwide.Due to a fact that the trading platforms service e-commerce enterprises provide normally involve with logistics,insurance,bank payment,commercial advertisements and other services,the whole process includes tremendous works to deal with users personal information and their privacy data,and thus brings in a lot of risks to disclose privacy information.In this context,the society both at home and abroad pays growing attentions to privacy data protection in e-commercial industry.In an introduction of this paper,research background and status of privacy policy are briefly summarized.Besides,it also points out the research content,research approaches and innovations in this paper;chapter two explains relevant conceptions and theories about privacy policy;chapter three compares the legislation on network privacy protection of mainland China with America,EU,Japan,Taiwan China respectively;chapter four compares contents of e-commerce website privacy policies in America with them in China,compares privacy policies of Taobao(China),Jingdong Mall(China)with Amazon(America)in six aspects and analyzes all the similarities and differences of each aspect to come up with a conclusion.Lastly,proposals are offered for protecting personal information of netizen in this internet era.
