As a new generation of migrant workers poured into the cities,they show characteristics different from those of the previous generation of migrant workers.They were more eager to integrate and settle in the cities.With the entry into the city,the new generation of migrant workers is faced with the problem of work role identification,that is,the degree of positive psychological feelings about their work.In the era of the new internet media,the role of the media in this group was not tolerable.This paper is to look at the positive significance of social media to the new generation of migrant workers and to analyze the role of social media to urban role identity,job role identity and work behaviors of new generation migrant workers so as to provide a theoretical basis for their better integration into urban work.in this paper,294 new-generation migrant workers in Beijing,Shanghai,Shandong and Tianjin are participated in our research,we used the questionnaire survey method,including Social network usage time.Questionnaire,Job Role Identity Questionnaire,Helping Behavior Questionnaire,Work Engagement Scale,,to analyze and discussed the interaction model of the usage of social network media,urban role identity,job role identity.the results indicated that:(1)The social network usage time of the new generation of migrant workers is 4-8 hours per day,accounting for 36.4%of the total;the job role identity is identified as being in the upper middle level,and the helping behaviors and work engagement behaviors are at a medium level.(2)The social network usage can have a positive effect on positive work behavior.(3)The job role identity partially mediates the effects of relationship social network usage and the helping behaviors The conclusion of the study is:(1)The social network usage time of the new generation of migrant workers is 4-8 hours per day.(2)The social network usage time can have a positive impact on positive work behavior.(3)The social network usage time can have a positive impact on job role identity.(4)While social network usage time has a positive impact on positive work behaviors,some of them have a positive impact on work behaviors through job role identity.
