With the continuous development of the global tire industry,Chinese tire industry has the rapid rise,China is the country that produces the most tires and export tires,although in a leading position on the number,but the quality between the world class brand is still a certain gap,especially the number of passenger car radial tires has an absolute advantage,is the priority among priorities we focus on.As one of the leading tire enterprises,M's products range covers passenger car tires,commercial vehicle tires,bias tires,off-the-road tires,jumbo tires,etc.Up to the end of 2016,the annual production of M company reached 22 million and the business had expanded to different developed economies,such as Europe,North America,Australia,New Zealand,Japan,Korea and developing economies like Russia & CIS,Latin America,Middle East and others.55% of the products are sold to about 180 countries and regions.With the increase of production,failure feedbacks are increased correspondingly.Due to geographic issue,failed tires can't be returned and oversea customer claims are mainly analyzed and judged by pictures and videos,which increase the difficulty of root cause analysis and solution development.Nowadays,competition globalization and product homogeneity become the normal.The living environment of enterprise is getting severe and besides the price,customers are becoming more sensitive to the quality and service.Therefore,how to establish quality management system,how to change the management mechanism and how to respond to customer's feedback and take action plan are the key elements to improve the competitiveness of one company.Combining with the current situation of the company,this thesis summarizes the problems happened in passenger car tires in the past five years and elaborates how the company pinpointed the root causes,took action plan and monitored the implementation through PDCA(Plan,Do,Check,Action),Six Sigma DMAIC process(define,measure,analyze,improve and control)and total quality management(TQM)to ensure improve the quality and customer satisfaction and realize a healthy and long-term development.Meanwhile,this thesis also has referential significance to other tire manufactures in some degree.
