With the market-based interest rate reform in full swing,China's commercial banks will face a whole new challenge.At present,our country has theoretically realized the marketization of interest rates,and the central bank has basically lifted the interest rate control system.As a result,China's commercial banks have greater autonomy in pricing power.For the time being,the deposit interest rates of all commercial banks have not risen more than 30% of the benchmark interest rate,although there has not been a real surge in interest rates.However,the deposit and lending spreads of commercial banks continue to shrink,and the pressure brought by the marketization of interest rates still can not be ignored.However,at this stage,the spread is still one of the major profit models of commercial banks.Therefore,how to deal with the marketization of interest rates and how to promote the profit-making transformation is the urgent issue for commercial banks in our country.This article is based on the logic of "asking questions-analyzing problems-solving problems".Based on the macroeconomic background of interest rate marketization,this article mainly introduces the concepts of interest rate marketization and bank business model,and uses the case study method to analyze the status quo and existing problems of the profit model of listed commercial banks in our country.Then it introduces the marketization of interest rate in our country and its impact on the profit model of commercial banks.By analyzing the market-based interest rate reform in the United States and Japan,this paper summarizes its successful experience.Finally,in the background of marketization of interest rates of commercial banks in China Measures to improve profitability model provide reference for commercial banks to deal with the marketization of interest rates.
